Best deals happening: Buy plex on secure, buy omega in NES
The best deal is usually the plex bundles on sale (on https://secure.eveonline.com/, aka the website) combined with omega time in New Eden Store (aka NES, aka in game store).
What happens is you buy enough plex to cover enough of a package. It's usually the deficiet pricing that is the 'best deal', so if you have an extra bil to leverage, it can be easier to go over the amount. It's usually like 1.2 bil. But if you're buying six years of eve, you usually have a bil. (PS sell your stuff.)
So an example to read below:
You spend $192 on a 6000 plex pack. You pitch in another 120 of your own plex which https://janice.e-351.com/a/ZNR4c7 says is 625 mil. you take the 6,120 plex on a character and buy 2 12 month NES in game for 3060 each. You could split these plex between two character. You are spending 255 plex per month of omega, and spending $8 a month for 2 years.
If you cannot deficient spend eve, aka cannot afford in game plex on your own, then you are paying a lot more, that same deal goes to only 21 months, as you have to buy 1 six month and 1 three month, meaning you're spending $9.14 a month for 2 years.
If you are just an in game money maker, waiting for these sales is also the best because the cost per month drops a LOT.

Stop gamifying buying your game.
I am annoyed that CCP is gamifying their game costs. There shouldn't be an optimal strategy, it should just be a set price.
What this means is that I need to pick and choose when I pay for my game, and that's really annoying.
I shouldn't have to do math like this to figure it if it's worth it to buy/sell something.
I have been tracking this awhile, and the current best deal was Feb 2023. But who can tell.
All while newbies are getting fleeced for $25 for a single month through deceptive practices.
Skill Points (SP) Costs
Accelerators boost your training speed, and CCP sometimes runs specials on them. They allow you to train more skills. It's generally 1.5 SP/min per point of attributes. You can use this to do the math associated with their bonuses.
Master-at-Arms Cerebral Accelerator (+10 attributes, 2 days with bio 5) - 15 sp/min - 43.2k sp
Basic 'Boost' Cerebral Accelerator (+2 attributes, 4 days with bio 5) - 3 sp/min - 17.28k sp

Full value - Biology skill and implant
Note, to get the MOST out of the accelerators, you need to train Biology 5. This doubles the SP gain from these injectors. You can also invest in the BY-810 which is currently https://everef.net/type/27148 145 mil. The cheaper BY-805 is currently 18 mil. The difference is another 10% and 5% respectively, so another 10% more SP per injector.
Event rewards
A reminder for those not familiar with eve, if you are alpha and have claimed the rewards every day, if you go omega today, you can claim all the omega claims thus far in an event. In the example today, it includes the Praxis and the 250k sp.
I'm against most of the games CCP plays with their prices, and have been tracking them awhile. https://www.wckg.net/Vet/plex-costs has more details on that. You have another 7 days to decide and might even wait to see if they do a flash sale to lean into this aspect.

but i've always maintained that the only thing worth buying is omega. Never worth buying SP, IMO. Talk to us in #newbeans if you have questions about it.
tldr: wait for best deal to emerge. 14 day+325k sp for $10, or 30 day+525k sp for $20. tell ccp to stop gaming the price.
